Why is it that whenever the government starts talking about gun control, there’s almost always a mass shooting? They point and say, “See? If we had better gun control laws, this wouldn’t have happened!”
Like the lunatic wouldn’t have pulled the trigger because there was a law in place. Aren’t there already laws in place against killing people?
Then they try to convince everyone that the gun killed people and not the lunatic who pulled the trigger. They point and say, “Bad gun! Bad, bad gun!”
How about they blame the lunatic rather than the tool used for destruction?
If our current lawmakers were around when Cain killed Abel with a rock, they’d try to ban all rocks. Why? Because most of them act like they have the I.Q. of a rock. Actually, we don’t really know if Cain used a rock. He could have used a stick. Regardless, the ban and I.Q. comparison still apply.
(My apologies to the sticks and rocks for being compared to politicians.)
What kills me is that the ignorami in office think that we the people are too stupid to take care of ourselves. We private citizens are incompetent and shouldn’t be allowed to carry firearms. Besides, isn’t that’s what the police are for? One would think that they would be if they hadn’t been defunded.
So remember, kids, be sure to look both ways before crossing the street, don’t talk to strangers, don’t stick your finger in your eye and boomstick bad.
